for me, im learning norwegian rn and wanna learn chinese/mandarin but that ones too hard tbh
I'm learning more spanish rn and I guess a language I would learn is Korean but I already struggle to remember bits of 2 languages 3 is definitely too much for me
Wanna learn mandarin so I can understand what the Chinese broadcasters are saying when I watch DRG but it will probably take a while before I have the time and chance to do that
idk why they dont have english streams for cn games tbh
i kinda just wanna learn mandarin cause i like and respect chinese culture
i wanted to learn that so bad because i think russian accent is the best sounding accent
then i realized its too hard
im tryna learn german rn, had a whole plan to do ger+pol+rus+jap but idc anymore icl
4 whole languages with 2 of them having 0 resemblance to english would be hella hard ngl
what made you wanna learn them in the first place
i mostly js like learning shi but im a european history nerd so that explains the first 3 plus i wanna go to germany
n i want to go to japan so knowing japanese would be cool, also its different than the other 3 so thats cool ig
also i alr know french (w canada for once) so the other romance languages would be boring icl
hella valid icl, russian's probably the hardest one there though
you got this goat i bleieve in you to become fluent in german
Polish is objectively harder because they have 7 cases compared to 6 in Russian (vocative exists in Russian but it's very rarely used, in Polish it's used regularly) and very weird pronunciation with nasal sounds that are non-existent in other Slavic languages afaik. Also their spelling is weird af, idk why they couldn't copy Croatian latinica or maybe Czech, consonant clusters in written Polish are something else, not very intuitive.
After visiting Japan I would say Japanese. I learned a few greetings and basic stuff to get by before going but it would make the experience much more enjoyable if I was able to navigate more local areas where English is rarely spoken.
japanese wouldnt be too hard to learn compared to most other asian languages tbh
it's very mainstream nowadays
you can do it goat, but itll prob take you a few years
I feel like since I know spanish too it makes the pronounciation of words so much easier compared to someone that only speaks english.
finished french, idk what to do next, i’ve got all latin languages except italian, maybe ill try something with a different alphabet, like mandarin/arabic/russian since they’re used in the field I wanna specialize in
