i want to be wrong abt him
but he was struggling in mid ascendant so hard he made his tracker private
riyal. But he really is one of the greatest mind that ever touch the game (but unfortunately not with his aim)
sayf is an example of someone who's mechanics on igl werent bad

nahh, it's more like 40-60 now. Like you actually need to contribute kills for your team rn (not just the mind/plan)
maybe back in the stone age grandpa but if u cant frag now as an igl ur probably gonna lose to a team with an igl that at least has hands
well if fnatic can still win against 95% of teams with boaster and get to grand finals constantly then i guess clearly not

well i mean sure but thats 2 teams out of 12/16 in each respective competition
Boaster fragging wise isnt actually that bad compared to other igls, he usually maintains around .9 but when it came down to the grand finals he dropped stinkers
if the igl is also the backline/support player, they only need to be mechanically capable enough to not be whiffing on easy kills
someone has to bot frag, and it's not a deal breaker if it's the person who is least set up to be taking favorable fights
I don't think the number of round-losing whiffs he has is substantially higher than other players, but if someone has the hard data I'm willing to be proven wrong
I agree but saying they only need to not whiff easy kills basically just means they only kill on lurks or good timings, imo they should at least win 60/40 half the time
and yeah somebody has to botfrag but would you rather ur botfrag be like 12/17 or 6/17
boaster was behind mechanically even in 2020 so we cant really call him washed. He was never there to begin with
