He probably uses SOOP as an opportunity to confirm whether the team functions without him. Everyone clowning his performance got to him and now he seriously doubts himself despite getting B3B Grand Finals. Over the years vro had some really astonishing players beside him but it takes a great IGL to put the pieces together (thats why all past superteams failed except 2023 FNATIC)

He is still the best IGL of all time and its a good tradeoff having someone glueing together insane players to get the most consistent results out of any team in VCT.

I mean this is probably a terrible example for this no? Surely we aren't thinking this when FNC is getting a random sub that has probably barely interacted with the team and isn't the best available either.
