While the first half was close, G2 clearly pulled ahead in the second half after dropping the pistol but winning the eco, bringing the score to 9-6. shirazi secured a 1v2 clutch to get Nova to seven, but seven rounds was all that Nova would get as G2 won out to a 13-7 win through controlled midrounding and an impressive 4K from Petra .

Individually, Vania excelled on the map on a unique agent pick of Brimstone in terms of both fragging and utility with a 19/9/12 KDA, 260 ACS, and a 1.61 rating. The veterans in Petra and mimi followed close behind with respective KDAs of 16/10/11 and 18/11/7.

The next map was G2's pick of Split. Despite Nova's information-heavy Skye and Tejo composition, they found themselves getting picked apart early on by G2's methodical attacking side as the EMEA squad took a 6-2 lead, with Nova's second round win only coming in thanks to a heroic Omen ultimate 3K play from 7er . Nova managed to rally back a couple rounds through hard shutdowns in Mid, but G2 leveraged the bank of ultimates they had saved up with an aggressive Dimensional Drift into Showstopper set play to end the half 8-4.

Individuals continued to show up for Nova as all of their remaining rounds in the match stemmed from multikills, including a second round eco win of their own in round 14. However, G2 ultimately proved their caliber as the inaugural GCC champions and the top seed from EMEA as they steadily widened the gap to a 13-8 victory.
