CS is till more popular then val and on same line with lol i dont know about Dota
CS is still huge, mostly in emea
LOL is also huge, mostly in asia
in the US, riot games are bigger than CS
DOTA is the only game in the world where people who haven't played it have absolutely no idea what it looks like
Dota 2 is way more difficult to learn compared to LoL so people who don't know anything about Dota will face difficulty understanding the game
CS is more popular in terms of esports viewership but val is more popular in terms of player numbers at present
Lol is way ahead on both esports and playerbase than Dota 2
I know dota 2 is decently popular in EMEA and has really big prize pools, I'm not sure about just CIS though, I did hear from a Sideshow stream that Valorant isn't that popular in CIS regions though.

I mean not exactly, Riot is catering LoL more in Asia than other regions because it's the only region that has been winning. Only reason why Valorant is popular in every region is because every region has teams that are actually competitive.
before korean dominance in League, NA and EU had a decent level of competitiveness. its only in the last 5-7 years that riot has catered more towards Asia.
