There’s like a Schrödinger’s PCF here

So BBL and PCF definitely breaks the rule that is you must keep the core of your roster year one, unless that rule is gone this year, that’s first. Assuming Riot thought PCF keeps their roster(they must have, to allow competition in ascension)

Secondly, every team interviewed with Riot to ensure they can financially support their team as well as wouldn’t kill the partnership PR wise

Third, let’s say Riot didn’t know about this move, PCF cheated an ascension slot from other teams who are actually capable of playing T1. Then they just surrender to BBL?

So my view is that PCF definitely lied to Riot, this is simply way more than KOI did to get dropped, there’s a potential for 3-4 rule breaks that have affected other people’s careers, not to mention previous things BBL has done.

Also, PCF aren’t even that good, why is BBL risking a lot over this? I can’t believe it really lol, thank God comeback isn’t involved in this mess.

Every transfer move gets approved by riot so if riot is allowing these transfers they know something we don’t know

Yeah most likely, but if they did know, they wouldn’t have allowed competition in ascension, that’s the point.

Which also makes me think there’s no chance Riot knew, because the damage is done, there’s losers of ascension have probably already fired people.

Riot knew. This deal wasn’t a secret it was known from the start of the year that BBL owned Pcifics Valorant team there is absolutely no chance riot was this oblivious for a entire year

Problem is it's quite hard to drop both bbl and pcf and then get replacement orgs after november so whatever the decision is it better be made fast

There is no rule by which they can stop these transfers.

They can kick PCF however. The basis for that is there

lets just hope thats not the case, because if it is then BBL is just waiting to be removed come 2027

No, you don’t understand, they wouldn’t be allowed to compete in ascension had Riot known this. I hope you understand that. Riot wouldn’t allow a roster that won’t play for an org ascend.

This is a rule break unless Riot at the last second said PCF cannot compete, which isn’t the case so far.

Also, have Lewn and Sociablee trialed anywhere? Super scummy move

If they drop BBL they will kill the viewer interest from the biggest region in emea unless they get a replacement like Eternal Fire so not sure how they will deal with that

Somehow comeback saved his ass even though he lost some of the respect from BCF players

If the rumours are true and only 6 orgs are permanently in franchising bbl are definitely on the chopping block anyway so I guess this is just them making it worse

Even with this issue (let's say ef get in theoretically as an example) they would have to likely find a capable roster far earlier than they would have liked at a period of time where most people are not planning to play and staff may not be working as much it's just a nightmare for riot and they don't seem to really win no matter what

My question is who they will get for BBL because they can’t just have no Turkish teams in vct there has to be at least one or two

I feel like the 6 to me will be fut fnc liquid kc/vitality heretics/vitality and fut I think the 6 will be based on orgs already in franchising though at least to me I feel like a turkish team is fairly likely to make it through whatever qualifiers exist

yep, these guys are scummy lol

although I guess he would've been fine, there's just an honest truth about PCF, comeback got out of that BBL jail, and is now on heretics with a competing team
