I think double map veto is such a big advantage that teams should play a BO5 to earn it. Or make every tournament like EWC format so you don't lose the magic of the only BO5 being the Grand Finals. (I'm not saying it because of my flair please don't bully me)

actual good take winning a bo3 to basically always have a 80/20 advantage is too much
i just think veto advantage should disappear, imo the extra day of rest and prep is already a good enough advantage
out of the 12 tournaments with double-elim, 5 teams were able to win through the lower bracket (OPTC, FPX, EG, SEN and T1) so I doubt they’ll change it anytime soon
that makes no sense with how riot schedules events, they'd either have to do a bo5 and then a bo3 on the same day or add an extra day to the event for essentially a single bo3. Single elim is also extremely lame and instead of double map ban people will just whine about who had the easy bracket instead when their teams lose. It's not like it's some insurmountable edge either, teams coming from the lower bracket have won 5/11 tournaments since this format was implemented, pure recency bias
I believe upper final and lower round 3 should both be bo5 and I’ve been saying this forever now
