the org still wants to ascend + the envy players probably wont get picked up by other tier 1 teams if they dont ascend so this is their only chance to play in tier 1 + its pretty funny if rankers ascend to tier 1

I can guarantee you TSM would not have an academy roster, TSM had a crazy fall from glory because of some questionable business decisions. They have a very small amount of teams in esports compared to before.
I mean this is why Im like saying for ENVY to pick up the rest of TSM that didnt fall for the bag before they finished Ascension so everyone is in TIer 1 and Cane and Ion can just watch party the games cause iirc the CEO of ENVY is letting them stay on the roster even if they cant play
