Looks like in Valorant bad teams can win against top tier teams unlike CSGO (when it happens become meme)
but in this tournament even strong regions lost maps against weak regions, maybe if you study a team you can win against them?
Unlike CSGO that even if you study a top 1 team for 1 year you still won't be able to win against them but in valorant looks that you can.

I'M NOT HATING VALORANT BUT I'M SAYING ABOUT CURRENT STATE OFC SOON VALORANT WILL BE EVEN HARD THAN CSGO BUT LOOKS LIKE IN CSGO IF A TEAM IS TOP IN FUNDAMENTS OF THE GAME WILL NEVER LOSE TO A SHIT TEAM UNLIKE VALORANT RIGHT NOW.

yeah skill ceiling is low cuz game is new it isn't 2 years old even
and with time skill ceiling rises in every game because of players experience and because of competition (if you wanna win you need to be better = everyone trying to better themselves = their skill rises = skill ceiling gets higher)
but because this game is young there is not much of experience and time for players to rise

P.S. maybe it was a bait and i didn't need to take this seriously
P.S.S. ofc asian teams cannot do shit in cs because there is too few teams and players because it is unpopular there

Wrong, yes different ability provide much variation of the game but csgo has smoke and molotov lineup as well, watch astralis vs fnatic games on inferno and you could literally see it could cost you the game, dont misunderstood i love valorant as well as csgo and i believe it is different game with different skill

Valorant is shaping out to be a global game, while CS is just EU/CIS, Valve doesnt even care about Asian or LATAM teams,
As a viewer its great watching a tourney where all teams are performing great unlike in CS where u always know the top 3/4 and doesnt get exciting until semis.

LoL still has a decently high skill ceiling although dota is harder, valorant skill cap is so low. Its low enough that it harms pro scene and is starting to scare away players from CS specifically (biggest potential playerbase for valorant) from switching. I mean shit gold nova players in CS can get some of the top ranks in valorant, one of my friends was gold nova and hes diamond 3 in valorant. Another one was MGE and is radiant. Its crazy...

yeah you are right , asian teams were never given proper chance in CS cause of Valve, with valorant riot supports orgs and it s players very well,

it has a set VCT circuit for the whole year , with regional and internl tourneys , so orgs can invest in players with promised returns of investment.
Also when multiple asian teams scrim in EU it also is a massive boost for whole of region and let them improve steadily.

I like CS too, but you cant deny Valve and TOs incompetence in supporting minor regions, at masters 2 KRU got 2-0 by both fnatic and liquid , but since they had proper org backing and consistent tourneys players were able to stick together and improve.

What is the meaning of proper chance dude, Literally every SEA and indian team that is there in Val now were CS teams before. there are so many oppurtunities given for them to rise. but they couldnt even qualify for big events because they couldnt even beat teams like tyloo in qualifiers of Big events like major, ESL pro league, etc . So, tyloo is the only team that represented Asia in big events

It will be hard for you to digest that csgo wasnt a global game as you think. Not many people in asia cared about csgo. There was small tournaments in schools and colleges which were mostly played on cs 1.6(potato pc's) . Now with riot investing on tournaments and putting up good servers the interest for valorant is growing. The APAC LCQ was the most viewed LCQ, this is a huge motivation for the players to perform

There are like 3 big valorant events in one year
Whereas in CS, there are 2 majors, 2 esl pro leagues with guaranteed 1 slot for Asian teams, and so many small events with 200k prizepool which include asian teams and we only have tyloo as a asian representative in CS because all these indian and SEA teams cant even beat chinese teams like tyloo and vici in qualifiers of those events

but the player base isnt there. not many people played csgo in asia . there simply wasnt any competition for the teams to practice. cs 1.6 was the popular one . Every gamer above 20 would have played cs 1.6 in their past, which is why many consider it as the best cs. With valorant now being popular, the teams have better competition because of the bigger player base

It's more like because is a New game, in Valorant no one has established themselves as the Greatest that know everything about comps and maps, while It exist even more things to be Deal than CS:GO.
Probably in the Future we Will say that a team Will really defeat others because they are better, but wtf is better? Some comp in específic or strat? A style of playing the game? Agents that fill better with other agente? What is the best of the best? What is the real perfect counter strats? No one knows, the game is still too New to even compare It to a 20years plus counter strike.
