Tf does it matter, the best players will get to T1 based off their mechanics and when Envy wins, they’ll add 2 T1 Vets and become the unc squad

while mechanics do matter I think fundamentals should be getting developed while they're in tier-2 to make their VCT debute easier

these types of mistakes will be punished severely by real teams

Removing partner team was never on the table, it was either having more Ascention team and less partner, or give a path for T2.

At the end of 2026 we will have 13 teams :

X 2027 partner team
10-X 2026 partner team that will no longer be partner in 2027
2 ascension teams
1 T2 winning team
During Split 2 Ex-partner, ascension and T2 win team will be "ranked" during split 2 playoffs, the best 2 teams (Or 4 if they are more ascension in 2027) will be our 2 ascension team in 2027, that's because wewill have a lot of ex-partner team that did better than winner of the "pseudo-ascention / champs qualifier"

You overestimate T1 team, I just think you forgot that beside few top team (G2, FNC, GEN, DRX, NRG and somefew more), nobody have basic fundamentals there, T2 team fail to do a crossfire, doing a crossfire wouldn't even come in mind to half of T1 team especially under the top 4 (Last time we saw them was 2 month ago, so it's probably already out of your mind so it's normal, you still vividly remember champs).
