After helping Nova to a playoff berth in his first event with the team, Nova finished the 2024 season as a middling team in the region, ending the season at seventh. After a 7th-8th finish at China Kickoff to start 2025, SWERL was benched by Nova in favor of an all-Chinese roster for Stage 1. The new roster debuted with a trophy-lifting campaign at China Evolution Series: Act 1, qualifying for the Stage 1 playoffs but ultimately finishing 7th-8th. SWERL was reinstated into the starting lineup for Stage 2, where Nova 1-4 and failed to qualify for the playoffs.
