oh yeah for sure, I was laughing my ass off as falcons choked a 5v3 at 18-17 against fucking MIBR (top 30 btw) on Inferno B site (0/93 tries in 2025 at tier 1 events)
counter point is probably their dota roster, but there they bought two TI winners (Skiter and Sneyking), three with coach (Aui_2000) who won together, ATF and Malrine who are insane mechanically and Cr1t who has been one of the best in his position for nearly a decade
Falcons strat is basically hoping you bought decent management who actually knows about the game and going from there it works for games like dota and overwatch because it seems they actually know what they're doing I don't think the same for their cs team for example
it doesn't work in CS because chemistry is important. Like take their CS roster:
monesy - talented but chokes on the biggest stage
niko - the god of chokes
kyousuke - blud is 17
teses - consistently inconsistent
kyxsan - young IGL
This team either fucks anyone 2-0 or becomes a meme.
It doesn't help that the core they bought is from one of the moneyball teams of all time so the team itself is more important than the players hence why I don't think falcons cs management cooked with the move although I guess vrs points kinda forces this move even if it's a bad one
