Chronicle is smarter than Aspas

Aspas would have been the goat if he stuck with loud instead of going to lev and then to mibr

Chron is smart, he joins fnc and just stays with them, even when they struggle like in 2024
He’s a good player, who isn’t arrogant and understands that his teams makes him that much better
Aspas isn’t arrogant, but it doesn’t really feel like he trusts his teammates outside of loud

Chrons reaping the rewards for trusting his teammates even when they are in a slump
He got the opportunity to build a super team and he ain’t looked back since

Can you name an aspas teammate who slumped?

At Tokyo, Copenhagen and Shanghai his whole team and this champs xenom

They weren’t slumping they just sucked (apart from Copenhagen, that was a really weird tournament from LOUD all things considered)

it was just an upset by KRU. In the matchup vs Optic, they weren't heavily favoured, and they lost by two rounds

Idk but its kinda weird how Aspas always needs a team built around him. Like bro just shoot the gun and let termi make the roster moves

I don’t think he needs a team built around him necessarily, it feels like he’s constantly trying to upgrade his team

And let WHO

he loud because he didnt agree with his teammates' playstyle
he left lev because he didnt like the org's decisions
he's going to leave mibr cause they already dropped the roster aspas believed in
imo this guy doesn't want to just win, he wants to dominate, and he damn well gets very close

he gets close to dominating? 😭

2023 lock//in: 2nd place
2023 tokyo: 7th-8th place
2023 champs: 3rd place

2024 madrid: dnq
2024 shanghai: dnq
2024 champs: 3rd place

2025 bangkok: dnq
2025 toronto: grouped
2025 champs: 5th-6th place

he just gets worse and worse every year since he won in 2022 lol

Shanghai dnq? Opinion rejected for being factually wrong

Stuck with LOUD, and then what? He gets stuck with more washed teammates? It’s not like Fnatic where he can just stay and get fed elite teammates and continue to be a superteam merchant. Aspas’s mistake was not leaving when Sacy and pANcada left

LOUD literally came 3rd at Champs, idk the exact reasoning behind him leaving but how are you gonna leave a team with one of the greatest sentinels oat in less

Aspas also did that with bums on LEV. If aspas had joined a decent team he could’ve won champs in 2023

ok but LEV didn't have less

They also didn’t have tuyz

Tbf the LEV players were all playing better at Champs, and C0m was already a champion

With tuyz and cauan they came top 3 at champs and top 2 at lock-in
Had that team stuck together, they could have won Madrid too, given tuyz form was insane and loud came 4th with qck

Tuyz was genuinely terrible, that much became obvious once aspas left. People aren’t willing to accept that aspas raises the level of his teammates even tho it’s painful obvious every year. I mean tuyz was arguably the worst player in Americas this year.

Also when you guys name these bots like cauanzin and tuyz, just understand that chronicle’s counterpart was Leo and Boaster

tuyz was a top 3 controller itw by masters madrid but then he fell down hard on S1 and was replaced by pancada

Nah ur right that tuyz was insane at Madrid but that was seriously a life tournament, he never has and never will replicate something like that again

tf u mean
tuyz was good until he had to switch to sentinel because instead of signing another duelist to replace qck they picked up pancada and pancada played controller while tuyz had to switch to sentinel. then he also had to play some initator too

he only swapped to sentinel this year he went flex then duelist and he was bad in both (and mid in sentinel too although he was getting better)

Goathaak had the right vision besides with Less, Aspas wouldn't have to 1v5

I think its a bit unfair to compare Chronicle staying with Alfajer, Derke, Boaster and Leo. Like bro has 3 best player in eu caliber players on his team. Aspas has definitely had weaker teams where they gotta figure stuff out roster wise or with new players. Now should he have stayed with the Loud or Lev that's a different question. But Loud won't pay to keep anyone or pay anyone a competitive salary and their was org issues with lev and Aspas. Dropping a guy on Christmas was crazy. None talks bad about Lev as a org and the caliber of players they have always had is crazy.
