What can you even do with this team?

Regional success, basically a dynasty in americas. You can't mix up a team like that right? But the core has been together for years, with no international success. There was a problem in neT, they replaced, it got better. There was a problem in Icy, they replaced, it got better. But still isn't good enough for internationals: best record was a top 2 and then a lot of early eliminations and top 3-4. And now there's no clear problem. Most of the time it doesn't seem to be a individual, but their collective is also praised. As the org G2, what can you even do to get better?

Do what they have been doing every year just change the duelist because that will surely fix there shit

competition in americas is ass bro

besides sen and nrg at the end (as well as their weird phase when they were struggling in stage 1 playoffs), they didn't have a rival that could match their level

lets just hope the region gets better next year

Leaf is usually a lot better so I think it'd make sense if he stayed but jonahp does often have performance issues

probably get a mental coach, they looked defeated most of the time in crucial moments in champions

Losing JonahP you will lose a top tier support. I know he needs to get better on fragging but he is probably one of the best itw in its role. It needs to be evaluated how worthy it would be to change him

I mean pretty much all the first seeds except PRX are gone by now so maybe there is a good debate about what is happening in regional tournaments

They just need to stop playing too cautiously and sometimes let their players off the leash. Like let valyn do crazy omen tps, let jawgemo make crazy plays... Let the players have some freedom because these are some very talented ones. Also why were they still running Tejo when everyone agreed that he was a shit agent?

Letting your players be creative on their own and basically letting them off the leash is why teams beat them to win important games and championships. If T1 played too cautiously and didn't disrespect G2's utility setups, they wouldn't have won Bangkok.

They have the same issue of crumbling under pressure, if they played the way they played against PRX, this series is a wash. Go back to cali, and work on yourself. Maybe get a mental coach, but roster stays, it HAS TO

I agree. But then they would lose what makes them special in the first place. Again, it's a dilemma. There will probably be drastic changes on some things because i think they reached a limit on patience internationally speaking.

Also i agree with this and it's one of the many problems i mentioned. This is a weird decision by the coaching staff

no changes needed. what they need is a mental coach because leaf cant do shit when it matters most. getting rid of jawgemo is stupid as hes the only player to do gods work when its needed

The thing is this has been happening with this core + leaf since 21 (Jawgemo is a world champ and clearly feels it way less as we could see now and in Bangkok). They still haven't resolved this?

finding the right ment coach would help them greatly alongside with a change in play style identity. prx is the best example of this

Bootcamp in other regions and try to adopt more aggressive, proactive comps.

New coaching staff or approach, there is no reason to be running tejo and solo yoru this much still thinking they can treat valorant maps like a game of chess. They need to set themselves up for teamfights better

Not necessarily replace but they need fresh ideas... they've been trying to replicate a Bangkok strategy that didn't even win them a trophy

they need to let their duelist play the game instead of using him as a drone every round

also get off the tejo comps

idek if a complete change in play style is needed, but they at least need the option to play faster/aggressive

i feel like it was kind of like this when babybay was playing, valyn was fragging heavily and iirc he was like top 2-3 in americas rating wise
