Vyse is for sure more versatile, but I would say Deadlock is in a worse position because she can't really watch flanks with her sonic sensor (like Sage) and her net must catch somebody for the stall to be good. Also Sage's walls can be used for tight areas, like for example Ascent B lane and you will need to destroy all the parts to fully get through - compared to Deadlock's one which can be broken more easily.
I might be wrong, but I believe there are more Sage picks than deadlock recently. For icebox, Sage is the 2nd sentinel with KJ that teams like to run.
Vyse being "playable" on every map doesn't make her the best agent in the game. She is slightly better than kj and cypher but they all are relatively close In power as seen by their win rates and pick rates vise only slightly outperforms them. Omen is playable on every map and is just flat out better than all the other controllers since he's so versatile. Viper Sova Neon are for sure better than Vyse, maybe yoru (I think he's overrated a little)
I wouldn’t say vyse is only playable one every map but more like she have high impact on every map. You must slow default to find her and this alone can set team up for trap plays.
With omen I think he’s the best controller but you would see more smokers if they weren’t all terrible except for Astra.
Astra blows lmfao, I would know since I co-main her and have like 134 hours on her. The ability that got the most value and gave her a unique niche was her grav well, even when she had four stars, the essential deletion of this ability is what killed astra. Harbor also died when Skye lost her recharge, fundamental flaw with harbor but u would see swamp if Skye was still playable. Paranoia is just so strong that there is no benefit to using astra or harbor. He's the best in the game by virtue of being a plug and play agent who can fit a multitude of styles and facilitate the success of a ton of rounds by merely existing. He's the most versatile agent in the game, which imo makes him the best. If you could use multiple of the same agent on a team I guarantee you teams would find success playing two omens. (viper is also super broken but that's a fundamental issue with how the wall interacts with the flow of the game, super hard to fix without gutting her Omen just needs to be tweaked)
