The capstone event of the 2025 season is rapidly approaching. From September 12 to October 5, the 16 best teams in the world will be joined in Paris in search of one thing: the right to call themselves World Champions. Bangkok, Toronto, the regional stages — everything has been about these next three weeks. The winning team will have their name etched into history itself, and the best player will be handed a custom-made bracelet.

The group stage will be played exclusively in Les Arènes de Grand Paris Su, in Évry-Courcouronnes just south of Paris. Tickets are still on sale.
Format
Champions 2025 follows its long-established format of a GSL format that will qualify eight teams into a double-elimination bracket. There are four double-elimination groups, each with four teams. In essence, each team will move on to the next stage should they win two games. If a roster drops two matches, they will be out of the competition.
The groups were drawn after the final of Americas Stage 2. The 16 teams were placed into four pools, each representing their regional placement. The rules stated only that each group must have one representative from each region, with their seeding determining the opening matches.

The best teams of each group move to an eight-team double-elimination bracket. The matches will be randomly seeded, with the only provision being that teams from the same group must be on opposing sides of the bracket. Every match will be BO3, except for BO5 lower bracket final and grand final.
Prize Pool
Valorant Champions 2025 boasts the same prize pool as in previous years, the largest in the VCT. In total, $2,250,000 USD will be distributed amongst the 16 teams. The champions will take $1,000,000 home.
- 1st: $1,000,000
- 2nd: $400,000
- 3rd: $250,000
- 4th: $130,000

- 7th-8th: $50,000
