As much as I would like to put my trust in fnc ,i feel like their map pool is kind of in the worst position, they were never good at abyss, their best map icebox is out, they haven't still figured out how to play sunset yet. Their lotus is also kinda collapsed and outdated tbh( they should pick up the PRX comp), their ascent has weakened up due to their bad macro, their corrode is alright,nothing too great, their bind is great tho, their haven is also not great man , you could definitely make a case Abt them having like 3 weeks to prep for this and may be in a good place , I don't think they actually got the three entirely like they definitely would have taken atleast like a 2-3 or 4-5 day break , they were exhausted with the heavy schedule due to EWC and stuff. So it's like not much time then
NRG lose to EDG in the first matchup, then they lose 13-9 on map 1 against TH, but later on beat TH 2-1. EDG qualify to PO as first seed, NRG beat TL to make it to playoff in a 2-1 fashion. Then NRG lose the first game in the playoff, but win the rest of the matches without losing a single map. Which end NRG champions run, beating FNC in the grand final 3-0.
