It's literally all KOI's fault and no one else to blame. They didn't fulfill their part of the contract and they paid the price. No one will miss them anyway

what was their fault,m i missing something??,IBAI Whatever his name he didnt stream???thats it??,sergio guy was streaming instead of him and pulling more viewers than vct emea stream

they had multiple meetings in 2024/2025 apparently and likely were giving warnings but KOI is known to have poor management so it is unknown whether the news made it to whoever needed to hear it. despite that, Ibai knew from the get go what the contract entitled and he didn't fulfill it. Riot likely had promises with sponsors so just a replacement wouldn't do

bro they knew they were breaching the contract. riot met up with them multiple times to tell them that. even if riot didnt explicitly say that they were kicking them out, koi knew what was happening, stop trying to defend the mismanagement of that org.

there were prior meetings if he says otherwise hes lying lmao, ppl in koi have confirmed the meetings happened, idk why you would assume that working on the skinline means your spots not in jeopardy? different departments? the skin department has no reason to know if koi is getting kicked lol

ye have you considered that maybe the communications within koi was dogshit? possibly due to the mismanagement within the org? the fact is riot met up with them well before they were kicked, and koi knew that they breached the contract.

They signed Koi literally only for Ibai to stream. And when Ibai doesn’t stream and replaced himself with Sergio, Riot deservedly removed them. They’ve been warned multiple times with the latest warning this January.

Whats the points of warnings if Koi doesn’t do anything. Might as well get a better, more invested org in 🤷. No one to blame but themselves

bro seriously?
we all know they want to bring a specific team in vct which they have in mind??
they first warning for january later they had meeting and everything was fine they started working on 2026 bundle,so anyone would think they r fine and if ibai stopped streaming sergio was fulfilling,he was bringing more viewers than vct emea lol
ok so "january" warning, everything fine later they started working on 2026 bundle and suddnely september kicked
clearly this is stupid

#28

bro seriously?
What happened to their 2023, 2024, 2025 roster. Were they simply not trying?

First warning wasn’t 2025 January, they were warned throughout 2024 they weren’t meeting contractual obligations. Last warning wasn’t January. Then they thought they made it up with Sergio but they wanted Ibai to stream. It’s not always about numbers but influence and Ibai would convert more people to Val.

They were working on 2026 bundle, but when is this really? Last month? Two months ago? Maybe last week? Who knows man. Clearly VCT management and the skin team is different. It’s like work, your team members might expect you next week but you get fired the day after. But of course you wouldn’t know anything about it

Clearly you are stupid lol

lol dont u think they should have been atleast informed lil sooner
they were working their ass off for 2026 from weeks
started giving salary to the coach already
they should have atleast informed them
hey idiots dont work ur ass off ur gonna get unemployed and everyhing is ending soon
2023 2024,m not sure what but they clearly were having internal problems
ur the one whos stupid that u think they r doing cuz they breached the agreement
they clearly want to get the specific team in vct franchising

Did you just get fired or something? Bros more mad than the Koi ceo

At this point, don’t go to blr. Go to r/antiwork or something

They worked hard for 2 weeks fam it’s not that much 🤷

KOI signed the contract and knew that if they were to breach it they could be dropped from partnership the same way every other partner knows that. Also, I do feel bad for the coach and players, but the amount of times koi has said stuff like don't worry our new roster put together how we or the new coach wants will be good this time around and then wasn't is too many times to give them the benefit of the doubt.

And not only have they had terrible performance they aren't even bringing in money through content, co-streaming, or bundle sales so what's the point of Riot supporting them if they are a money pit who don't even win. Like I do think Riot should have given them a notice much sooner and that was a bit unfair of them to do what they did, but KOI is not free from fault and would have been dropped no matter what, so I do not feel bad for them.

Stop using the "well they were making 2026 bundle so they must've thought riot was chill" argument cuz that shit makes no sense. guess what, they thought wrong. riot probably couldve made their communication clearer, but at the end of the day koi breached the contract, knew what they were doing, and deservedly got kicked. stop defending org mismanagement

Rather they kick them out after their VCT season ends immediately then waste their time

they signed coach they were trialing players and etc working their ass off from weeks

Hardwork and it’s like 2 weeks worth of just trialing. They don’t even have a full roster. maybe ibai and koi should have worked harder since 2023. It’s like you expecting not to be fired when you worked hard for a week but you’ve been lazy and not performing at your job for years

Say some buttfuck random T2 trialed demon1, yay, kangkang do they deserve to be in Franchising?

Other orgs have worked harder, GE, DFM hell even 2G.

What a lame ass excuse

Yh i was there drinking with Ibai telling him his team is ass in ibiza.

I’d rather support an org that’s worked hard for years or at least put in an effort than an org that said “we’ve worked hard for 2 weeks but it’s not our fault we’ve been lazy for 3 years”

#37

same question again did u see them work hard
were u present with them
how do u know who worked harder
stupid clearly stupid

#38

Well I know who worked harder cause they said so themselves:
"2026 is going to be the first year in the history of KOI Valorant that we are going to do the roster we want. If 2026 is a failure, is our fault"

So if we used your two brain cells together, we can infer that they haven’t been working hard / caring about val for the past 3 years. It’s not about only the roster, but it’s the orgs attitude in terms of content and contractual promise to Riot

So let me ask you this, do you think they’ve worked harder than the other EMEA orgs?

#40
Cuvvvv
-1
Frags
+

brother if u assume who worked harder based on statements not on actions u lack the most braincells
they were having problems which i read somewhere which they fixed and now have the full authority maybe they would fail again but atleast they would do what they wanted

ans to quesstion-no idea i dont assume who worked harder based on statements

lilbro acting like M8 isn't going to get the their spot and that they are going to have the same shitty perfomance LMAO

If it was for a team like Team Spirit that you know that they are going to give you a good team and competition then I understand it, but they just took another shit team, and at least KOI proved in LoL after solving their internal issues that they have the potential to build a good roster

are all koi defenders this braindead???
why are yall just blatantly ignoring the most important factor of their termination? they breached the contract, was aware of it, and then got kicked. i dnt give a fuck who they replace koi with, and last time i checked, m8s didnt breach their contract

Lilbro has 0 comprehension skill, when did I defend KOI, I said that I am not agree about which team is going to get their spot (M8) and I replied to the guy who said that they did a poor work through the years with their rosters (something that's a fact but M8 if they make the same shitty management like this year they are going to be in the same boat) and I did a counterpoint in that argument. They deserve it due their negligence (mainly Ibai fault) but let's not act like they got out due they are the laziest org in franchising building their teams (Furia I am looking at you), for that reason you aren't reading me writing anything else apart of the performance potential of the teams dumbass.

All 14 year olds here are parroting about 'breach in contract' just coz some Riot dickriders on Twitter said 'that can't be the only reason' to KOI's video lmfao

Well lets ask these clowns what they think the 'breach in contract' was? Expecting Riot to be competent is really a next level delusion, all those 'warning meetings' can be happening with multiple Franchised orgs not just KOI, yet they were ones who got axed. I am 100% sure Riot gave no prior warnings before kicking them, KOI won't lie about that since it can be debunked with almost any liable proof.

That being said, if Riot has balls then they should stop being pussies and let CIS orgs back into Valorant. CS already does, which is also why its the superior esport lmfao

#46

the breach in contract is getting parroted cause its coming from sheep esports who are very reputable lmao??? when riot accepts teams to partnership it looks at alot of factors to decide whether the team has enough resources to compete and bring value to the esport, ibai streaming was very obviously a part of riots considerations towards koi, so him costreaming was a part of the contract, koi was almost certainly accepted to partnership at least PARTIALLY because ibai agreed to costream the games. you can say you dont think him not costreaming is not a good enough reason but at the end of the day it was in the contract because it WAS a part of riots consideration of whether they wanted koi in partnership, additionally breaching the contract for any reason, even if the reason is minor, shows a certain level of negligence from the org, like koi have literally proven at this point to not be as reliable as riot probably thought they were (considering koi have been reliable in league) additionally the ibai costreams are no longer happening so the considerations for koi being in partnership have literally changed.
