I hate this org so much man, they tasted a bit of victory for once with Aspas and now they are making roster changes every split and expecting immediate results. Just give one of these rosters more than 2 months to work with, its not that easy to qualify for champs when 2 teams are locked in from your reagion in group stage already.
I think the academy players are getting way too overhyped because they are farming the worst region in Americas. LATAM won only 1 series in Ascencion Playoffs against NA and Brazil in the last 2 years. Even dante and virtyy who were farming LATAM tier 2 had mid to below average performances in stage 2.
And what do you want them to do? Give up on the academy they invested in and region as a whole and just keep picking NA players? Then people complain and say LEV got their spot to represent LATAM and are mad that the team is international. Plus, with a proper process these players can be great, look at Sato. Dante got thrown into the wolves in the middle of a season without much preparation or time to practice into a team whose IGL didn't even wanna IGL. Obviously, they aren't going to be champs winning material right off the bat but with this year's poor performance you got to change plans and look somewhere for a new project, and what easier project that the academy u've been investing in for years.
Who is investing in Academy for years? Whats wrong with you guys being so obsessed with being represented? TH and GX are spanish orgs and they dont have a single spanish player and yet nobody complains. Orgs should pickup good players no matter the region or ethnicity and give everyone equal trials. Okeanos getting dropped just because he wasnt born in LATAM teams is as stupid as nzr getting kicked just because com was a champion. Everyone should have a fajr chance for their spot

I'm not, in fact, I'm fine with international roster under LEV if that makes the team more competitive but most people seem to think otherwise. Even when asked here, many thought LEV became more of an NA team than LATAM team just because of the roster even though I also pointed out that KC was obviously representing the french despite them not having french players.
Also, Okeanos is not getting dropped for not being born in LATAM, he is getting dropped because he can't speak the language in which the new roster will comm in. If the roster is 4 latam players and latam coaching staff, it's obviously better to communicate in Spanish/Portuguese than to do so in English because of 1 player
