He made an apology but I see a lot of people not forgiving him, is it that serious from a Turkish perspective? I seriously don't know

It's a common thing to be an edgy teenager and people can change, but maybe some topics are just extra sensitive for people to forget

no hate but a lot of turkish are crazy nationalists and ata turk is a very important figure in turkey so yeah it matters a lot, pbb even too much, to them even tho it's kinda irrelevant

Simply, 50% of Turkey is extremely nationalist, and the other 50% hates the extreme nationalists

Turkish people are quite patriotic and to make comments about the founder of the country, Ataturk, is pretty much asking for trouble. Honestly, whoever dredged up that clip of Profek needs to feel some shame because it's an old clip and Profek has been through his ban and blacklist period. It makes no sense to reignite the issue.

its not asking for trouble, no other country gets this level of baby treatment when it comes to their nationalist freaks other than turkey.

he is greatest value of turkey's history. It is pretty normal to be angry, rather than nationalism.

In Turkey, criticizing Atatürk is still legally restricted under laws protecting his memory.

Most people who give him shit are projecting. There are grown men still giving Justin Bieber shit for the racist jokes he said as a young teen lmfao
