He was always considered a fragging igl since he joined the guard but he’s improved his fragging every year basically. The biggest thing is that he’s a big fragger in the most impactful games that core has ever played (Reykjavik qual match, ascension grands, Bangkok finals, etc)
Valyn has always been an amazing fragger. To shoot that good while being a great IGL.. Man's a demon.

An IGL being able to get his 1 consistently is impressive enough but the fact that he’s doing that and then some at a high rate this year is so impressive
