Why I am so dog with the Vandal?

Firstly I’m Immortal so I know how to play the game, but I use the Phantom 99% of the time.

I can’t use the Vandal for the life of me. For some reason I feel twice as slow movement wise compared to when I hold the Phantom, even though both guns have the same movement speed.

The Vandal also feels so slow when I shoot it. A two shot burst takes so long compared to the Phantom and it makes me feel like a sitting duck.

Am I forever doomed to just being a Phantom player? It just feels way more intuitive to use coming from CSGO.

It's the opposite for me phantom feels like dogshit to use even though it's the better weapon

I felt this way with phantom for a while

It lowkey is quite different because of the fire rates, that’s also why I think a lot of people struggle with bulldog because they’re not used to it.

With phantom I just had to get more exposure and reps guess, watching people play it and stuff

i saw stats that came out which showed phantom is superior in nearly all scenarios besides engagements from 50+ meters. so i think u can still be fine maining phantoms as long as you avoid taking those fights if possible.

Ever since i bought recon I barely use vandal

personally my bursts are terrible with phantom and I randomly whiff shots I feel like would hit with vandal

I shoot better with low fire rate weapons, higher chance of me winning a round with a bulldog than a phantom except on tight maps like split, also 140 sucks

You're punished more for not hitting the head or shoulders with the Vandal than with the Phantom. Also its harder to spam with the Vandal than Phantom.
