what would be the better champs outcome

a) a team that's been consistently good for most, if not the whole, year long winning champs

OR

b) a mid/trash team that everyone thought would be a waste of a slot figuring it out mid tournament and going on a cinderella run to win champs

a) you get a deserving winner flaw: this team is more or less likely annoying to most fans (e.g. g2)
b) you get a feelgood story flaw: this run is called a fluke

b would be better imo, achilios said in the vct pacific 2023 champs documentary that despite the setbacks faced early in the season, winning champs might equalize if not diminish the narrative of a team being mid

the ultimate goal is champs after all

A team that we know can be good(either good players or consistent performances), I dont want fucking DRG to win champs and then go back to being booty

everyone remembers the world cup winner, not how they qualifed/how was their run/how they were the whole 3-4 years before that

also our day to day life is like that - not everytime the most deserving one gets the deserving prize, it's about luck,timing,co-ordination, overworking, underworking, willpower, hard work, skill and everything.
