This is based off the assumption that VIT are able to keep Less and Derke and that BBL use their PCFC Roster next year and go almost to full Turkish.

Less (Sentinel)
KovaQ (Flex)
Sayonara (Smokes)
Jamppi (Recon IGL)

I can see this genuinely happening if Jamppi leaves BBL. The only other change that could happen besides coaching staff is KovaQ but he’s impressed me quite a bit so far.

Smokes is the 1 role Sayonara hasn't played, I'd rather pickup another smokes player and allow him to play Flex

I understand that he has not played Smokes Competitively yet but if you see this guy dropping 30 almost every game he plays Omen in Radiant Lobbies, its hard to doubt his ability on the role. If Omen is still Meta by next year he would likely go perma Omen like Kicks.

I don't doubt he can do it but I selfishly want him on Flex so he can play double duelist comps with Derke but yeah I'm sure he'd be good on smokes

I just hope that they get a Coaching Staff that could bring him up because Sayo has GOAT Potential. Incredible Mechanically with an Insane Agent Pool.

cyvoph has more experience playing initiator they should just do that instead of doing what they did split 1

but we have seen cyvoph preform well on smokes still, so it would make sense to let sayo play the role he is more comfortable on as long as the team can trust cyvoph. but look at this roster:

4 insanely capable shooters around a decent igl, this is what could actually make it far

UNFAKE and Jamppi are Interchangeable in my Opinion. If we can see Jamppi in form on a team like this they could compete for best in EMEA for sure.

honestly jamppi might be solid just for the chem between him and derke, but that all depends on if BBL go full turkish next year, and with BCF struggling and their players coming of age soon, this could work.

Again, with all dysfunctional super teams, Sayf’s igling wasn’t the only problem. Also, Shao’s roles are a lot more systematic than Sayf’s roles, and he’s probably learned a lot under Angel, so it ain’t a bad call

What’s your alternative if you don’t want Shao?

Anyone with actual IGLing experience, I'd rather have Jamppi like OP said than a first time IGL in Shao. Roles still make sense similar to Shao. Drop KovaQ, have Sayo play flex and have Jamppi bring PROFEK over with him.

Correct, not officially as the IGL, but he did act like an IGL on Liquid. Sliggy has talked about how Jamppi would often come up with ideas out of the server, do preround and midround calling quite a bit, was a good leader, and by next season, he will have a full season as an IGL under his belt. I understand what you are saying, but I don't see VIT taking a risk like that again.

Kicks should stay and I am not biased based on my flag
I think that people think he is worse than he actually is considering that he had to swap roles, he is an initiator player and on init he looks absolutely incredible, I mean he was one of the best breach players during kickoff and bangkok
I think its gotta be something like
Derke (Duelist)
Less (Senti and NOT viper)
Kicks (Initiator)
Smokes IGL (I legitimately don't know, Qpert?)
Sayonara (Flex)
Also, based on the complete lack of protocols in a massive amount of scenarios that we saw during the whole year, Faded needs to go
I especially feel like the changes that happened this split without the role issues being resolved (Kicks not being on initiator and them not having a consistent smokes player) were absolutely on him
