they benched s1mon because he chose to slack off and let his ego take over, i’m sure they didn’t want to bench s1mon since they gave him so many chances
when 4 of your own teammates go out on weibo and say ur a bad person what can u do
management allowing them post this was already a mistake + they’ve said this behaviour has been since champs 24 where they had to “babysit” simon so they could work well
why didn’t management hire a mental coach/performance coach to manage these behaviours instead of just going all out?
i agree, in any quarrel both the sides are at fault; and but here I feel the third party, i.e EDG management was at the biggest fault as all the players are young,immature and haven't done anything apart from playing games, so they should've done something about this
and we have seen the great impact of mental coach in PRX's success and lack of it causing teams like GENG to tilt and choke
both sides in the wrong one team meeting fixes this btw
i read the whole dm log between s1mon and aqua you can easily tell proper communication wasn't there and it could have been resolved, they placed 3rd after a champs win....at the event with least teams to make it (only 2 teams per region)
Both I guess, I mean the talent of players are still the same as 2024 but other teams got better coaches and muggle is just mid
Ive heard so much about the coaching staff it’s probably the coaching staff and not the 5th player who is making them worse
Why do they keep swapping a 5th player so quickly, expecting them to all fill the same role, and then when they fail, quickly get another guy. Feels like a stop gap measure telling themselves, if we just get back to our 2024 Champs level everything will be fine. But the meta has already shifted since then. It's been almost a year.
Pretty sure its a mix of both EDG panicking and also China just being the best at anti strating the top teams in their region. Like wolves has been getting ran down by Chinese teams from the extra footage chinese teams have on them (just my assumption).
apparently wolves were at some collaboration event after toronto and they couldn’t get enough scrims against t1/t2 teams which is why they look unusually bad
they were at like a convention so they had no prep while all the teams were at ewc
