that's actually sort of common. A lot of people think they won't win. Either because they will have been studied, or that they just won't be in form and won't have a consistently good mental, etc.

Liquid literally won LCQ without any hiccups. Nivera is a huge buff for Liquid.
They are worth the hype.

I agree. I think they deserved to win LCQ, but they went 3:2 against Nth and lost to them previously. I don't think Nth is a team that would have a large chance of winning Champions (provided that every team plays normally, it's not accurate nor smart to rely solely on one team underperforming and another going crazy for predictions, despite there being a chance of it occurring). The others they beat were Reject, DMG, and Nuturn. Reject isn't notable and Nuturn hasn't improved at all since Iceland, since then a lot has changed. If anything NU got worse. NU didn't use Hyeoni right in the slightest. As for DMG, DMG didn't really practice and had been already planning a roster rebuild. They were caught by surprise by the fact that they would be in the LCQ (I'm not 100% on this, I heard of it though. I'm pretty sure DMG wasn't supposed to be in LCQ so they hadn't prepared correctly for the event).

FS should win a few, but I seriously doubt they'll end up champions, or beat notable teams like Envy or GMB.

If I got any of my facts wrong, I'd like to know.

I don't think it's the general consensus that Sen is going to go crazy. It seems pretty even between "Sen learned from their mistakes and will be back better than ever" and "washed, not good, since Iceland there are better teams now. Their golden age is over."

I have heard a lot of noise regarding Mwerza and VK. I also believe that FS is overhyped. I hope FS does well and I think they're good, but I don't think they'll win.

Keyd Stars- mwzera pickup is hyped, but he's been struggling recently when not on jett or reyna
Liquid- super hyped up because of the redbull tourney, but out of the 3 teams I named I think they have the best chance of winning (or maybe sentinels idk)

i have only seen liquid being overhyped, there are some noise towards mwzera and vk but they dont think vk will make it to playoffs at all

I think both Gambit and Liquid have been overhyped. Liquid because the Nivera buff could end up being a honeymoon period, and Gambit because it's questionable whether they can show up in top form consistently.

Lately I think Sentinels have been less overhyped than before, but its still there a little bit. Champions either cements their status as a top team (if they make the grand finals) or throws them further into question.
