He was not decent at all. I think it was a mistake from the beginning, because of the role issues. Yeah he closed some big rounds, but also was bad in so many games. I genuinely hope he will get another shot in tier 1, but he had no chance in Liquid

“Decent” is very generous

This is a good team and is supposed to have good players. Doesn’t matter if he had a good map against blg when he was regularly performing poorly

He flopped. His best chance is getting a spot on a lower team in his main role next year.

I've been a huge fan of Serial this year, but I will be the first to admit Liquid was the wrong place for him. Signing a sentinel player when you have nats on your roster is just begging for trouble. When Serial was on sentinel he looked solid, but his flex left a lot to be desired. I would much prefer seeing Serial playing sentinel on a middle-of-the-road team where he can shine.

Good at 1v1 situations but not enough firepower

If anything, Serial qualified Liquid to Toronto. He had couple insane clutches against NAVI, which if he'd lost, Liquid were getting eliminated from playoffs
