Why so little top tier tournaments?
And in between while waiting for these is there no 3rd party top tier tourneys?

Ewc is 3rd party organized that is more valuable than masters with bigger prize pool and more competitive with more team competing

Because RIOT has a franchising system (no open qualifiers to top tier tournaments), 3rd party top tier tourneys (with strong teams) only occur during the off-season and are not affiliated with the VCT.

2 masters, 1 champs, 1 EWC a year

CHAMPS > MASTERS > EWC

people hold masters to a similar level to champs in this game though.

Basically champs + masters = majors, but champs is more prestigious
