Asia has now won the last 4 events in a row

Why can't americans and europeans cross the finish line anymore?
I'm not baiting and saying they're awful but clearly they keep falling short?

bc valorant has garnered a lot more attention in asia these last 3 years and for that reason there is a lot of new talent. Compare this to emea and americas where viewership and player count has remained the same or decreased and so there isn't any new talent which is why there aren't many new rookies in those regions. Basically talent is just recycled.

Obviously this isn't the sole reason but i feel like its a major one.

all the people that won have been playing the game since a long long time ago tho

they have obviously been playing valorant for a long time but a lot of them haven't been in the pro scene that long. e.g

Patmen, demon1, karon, s1mon.

these guys won in their rookie year. Also it's not just about winning, if a team integrates a rookie and they place better then I would consider this beneficial. You would expect teams with more rookies or newer players won't win internationals as often as veteran teams but if you have a rookie lineup and u give it 2 years or so then you have a great chance.

i think VCT CN and VCT Pacific being so close to each other elevates the quality of practice for Asia as a whole. I remember back when VCT CN didn't exist, Vision Strikers/DRX would always lose in tournaments because the quality of scrims they got in Asia was not that great

I still believe G2 was the best team in the world for the last year and should have closed out these last 2 majors.. this one is still excusable because they did not get enough match time with sudden shift in meta.. the top Americas teams are usually very solid with the meta/map pool and strategic so any major changes means they cannot easily adapt unless they grind it out.. (a result of having an extremely competitive region where consistency matters)

the more utility based, superpowers flying on the screen, ults, flashes, stuns, walls, special abilities the game becomes, the more asian teams and players shine

Take Overwatch for example or MOBA games like LOL

pacific is more innovative and work harder to adapt to a unique and personalized style based on both the comfort of the players and the necessity of the current meta

T1 won mostly rejecting tejo meta; PRX won with their own style for years in the making

on my vision americas and emea suffer from 1) players who can't put an effort on being flexible enough (as example: Aspas not playing yoru until now as much as i love him; Sentinels struggling with role swapping through the year; Vitality role and IGLing issues) and 2) A Coaching staff who doesn't understand these limitations and/or are uncreative on creating a unique game plan to keep everyone performing if needed, always trying to either shove the team into a meta they don't fit in (LOUD), using outdated comps (MIBR), or using orthodox comps for no reason other than surprise factor (100t)
