They are still better with jawgemo. They have won both regional finals and have placed top 4 both events, also made all 3 events this year
said this a while ago, said he wasn’t the problem but he also wasn’t the solution, and idk if Jawgemo is either. I think the solution is either changing their play style (unlikely) or signing a sheer mechanical demon they can manipulate.
jaw isnt the problem either
the problem is g2 dont have a guy that when a round breaks down and all the util is used can win a 1v3 off raw aim
that said, even if they did, they wouldnt use him like that. jaw could potentially be that guy but hes on yoru duty

but when that gets shut down and the lurks/map inserts arent there the round is pretty much lost
solution: stop with the solo yoru fetish and move onto movement oriented duelists ex. raze, neon
or if they wanna run yoru so fucking bad maybe they should try leaf or trent as the secondary duelist
like i really wanna see valyn lift a trophy but it just won’t happen with his team rn if they keep doing this
solo yoru is definitely not the move but i dont think they should get rid of it completely
the next problem is they dont have a secondary fragger to follow their yoru

leaf is great when hes online but his sleeper maps are horrible

this is part of the problem - they're so committed to this double initiator double controller shit that's kinda outdated, and they need to be more creative with it because rn it's just a worse version of the same shit every other team knows how to play against
notice how the top 3 teams at Toronto run the bare minimum Sova/Fade on most maps and usually go for a second duelist or sentinel when they want more util
