I think twitch from legal perspective have to try their hardest to sweep this under the carpet. At some point they become liable for not carrying out proper financial transfer verification procedures. Hope somebody does a class action lawsuit on their asses, but it's probably going to be wasted effort anyway as Amazon and Jeff Bezos are big enough to buy cough, cough, sorry I meant "lobby" the US judicial system to get out from this relatively unscathed.
