If you dislike tejo say that. Dont say this metas stale because of the same agents when almost every year (except 22 ironicly) the meta has been the same 3/4 agents almost every map

well i'd argue we saw more variety before tejo, now its tejo or you're throwing

Yep, people don't understand, even when the chamber was broken af, it was amazing to watch. Yay prime, just one tap in everyone, but now, totally boring to watch and play, because RIOT create a monster worst than viper, at least in viper meta you needed some lineups, with tejo no, just a fucking ipad and watch the world burn.

and then we saw gekko come out which made the viper molly become pretty bad for a post plant so ppl had to change

In the past metas there has been more likely to clutch then now with tejo and the tejo is just playing main staying alive for salvos it makes the gane more boring. For example if u kill 3 in a 1v4 then tejo is just staying alive and there is not little time so he put down salvos and its GG boring ass meta

u cant bring up chamber meta when it was one agent and it allowed creativity unlike no other meta. and 2023 mightve been super consistent but it was a good consistent, not this bullshit we got now. you could swap a sova for a fade, a kayo for a skye, a killjoy for a cypher, but you cannot trade tejo or ur lost

Even in a Chamber Meta, we saw Yay walk into a site clearing that shit himself with an Op, actually Wild to see, he was one of the few that could pull that off.

personally for me its the fact that lategame theres literally no counterplay to tejo lol, i absolutely despise watching clutch situations with a tejo alive and knowing that no matter how good the opposite team plays it if the tejo team has a brain theyll still win

the meta being boring has nothing to do with the same agents being used over and over for me

I never had a problem with the jett meta

tejo meta is just boring to watch. That's it.

I agree I'm saying that those agents meta were not worse than tejo because they were either less oppressive OR more fun to watch (or both). Chamber, for example, was more oppressive, but way more fun to watch. Thus, the chamber meta was more enjoyable than the tejo meta.

I think Tejo meta is just extremely predictable and boring to watch. You just play super safe and as long as you can get the bomb down, it’s generally a free round as long as you’re alive and managed your cooldowns well. At least with Chamber you required good mechanics and watching a talented Chamber player was exciting. It’s not fun watching perma postplant/retakes.

all those eras have skill involved, especially 2022 chamber where its literally a mechanical skill check

we dont want ipad warriors (literally) to point and click their way into a championship victory

I think it's more perma-post-plant that people have an issue with. It seems like a lot of viewers are newer to VCT, otherwise you'd remember a similar sentiment when Astra released, and a team was simply trolling by not playing Astra double controller/post-plant.

I also think it's all a bit silly when every team has the same access to the same characters for the duration of the meta, yet fans seem to think a character or meta provides an unfair experience. Boring, sure, but I think favored or unfair is difficult to reason if your job is to play the game.

this is the only season i think where literally every agent has been played, the variety with deadlock, vyse, yoru, breach was pretty good at first but tejo postplant ipad gameplay got boring real quick, mostly cause it takes zero skill to use an ipad to fire missiles

but i'll take this meta over a boring jett meta
