These teams rely heavily on their players to hit heads otherwise they struggle

SMB
Sentinels
PRX
Liquid
Rise (to some extent)

Almost all Turkish teams depend a lot on aim duels.

Furia is also imo kinda aim duel reliant

But they do have some cool plays to create the duels

smb is the most mechanically stacked team id say. they are also tactically one of the worst in top tier pro scene. so them performing good in berlin shows how much their aim carried them.

They didn't perform good. They won a single series 2-1 against a team that they were expected to dominate.

And in fairness to them, they didn't get to play anyone else apart from prx and acend.

But ya, they did not perform good in Berlin.

merely being in berlin is a good enough performance for such a new team, unlike other top teams like fnatic and liquid not making it. and they played a pretty good game against acend and prx who were no slouch themselves. if you expected them to win everything then yes they didnt perform well, but due to the facts presented above in my books they performed well enough.

I think what you meant to say is they performed good in qualifying to Berlin. In EMEA playoffs, they were mostly phenomenonal. After that they didn't do anything.

You can't say they did good IN Berlin just by being there. They did however, do fantastic to get there.

GE to in my opinion, they rely too much on skrossi

In local tournaments, in the APAC I felt everyone stepped up.

Just compare this to local tournaments within India where the entire team sits at 6 kills while Rossi is fragging out at 20 kills or something.

But at least when they scrim against SEA they all step up. Same for LCQ and VCC playoffs.

Totally agree this , but it was a different case in the LCQ .

In Local events , Every GE vs VLT site retake/Post plant is based on who wins the most gunfights and trades

Surprised no one here mentioned Gambit. Obviously their strats is what made them the best team but each one of them is fucking cracked.

Its just that even thoogh they might have a bad day ,their fundamentals can make them win games
Like look at Deffo , he had a bad EMEA event still they managed to win without their entry popping

D3ffo is not a star player for Gambit, their star players(nats/sheydos/chronicle) absolutely did pop off.

the bad thing about relying on aim is that if you have an off day there is nothing u can do about it

LMAO
it looks like sentinels are allaimnobrain
but they have strats too , theyre an anti strat kinda team
idk how to explain it tho , i saw some video that day about this EXCAT topic , i forgot it tho,

but theres another video where sean gares explains sen vs fnatic , especially shahz's reads and impact , watch that , very well explained tbh,

Ofc SEN has really good strats too , but they dont have strong trade potetnial so they heavily rely on their players mechanical aim , kinda what they suffered against NV in split

i mean
they had a horrible tournement
i knew they were gonna have a bad tournement when they lost to G2 , and i confirmed it when they lost a map to f4q
