i agree with you, and have since starting this account. Purely just for fun, scrims dont really mean much. While I do think this was a fluke of being shit by KC, I don't think they're as good as their scrim results show. Most of those scrims were also vs tier 2 and tier 3 bums

KC got eliminated by the 2 teams that are going to make Bangkok and one of them is going to win the whole thing.
Maybe VIT doesn't make it but I am sure Giants hype is real.
Scrims/Practice mean a lot. Its the weird interpretation of results that make people have crazy expectations. KC got unlucky, it'll drive them to do better.

scrims doesnt neccesarilly mean they prac alot everytime. they may try new stuff and ideas they may have in the backpocket and experiment comps during those sessions.
