Almost like hes IGLing a completely different game now, weird how it doesnt fully translate. And Liquid never won tournaments cause of insane leading they won cause of player skill and dominating individually, they played VERY loose CS
C9 literally just gotta shut down Asuna and they win the round

rise is definitely a very solid team but good luck to c9! if they win they deserve it 100%
tbh 100t should build around asuna ethan nitro now, the new 16 year old sub sevvn could fill that jett role and actually trialing a 5th to fill the holes would be better than just adding an analyst. Hiko needs to change playstyle its too easy to read. Will be a top team again in 2022

well ok if they want a baiting sova one trick their entire existence then by all means go ahead, just think they need some more variety and a second real duelist player.
Hiko is a baiting bot who can only play 1 agent, 100t need to sign a real sova who can frag like Cloud or Shao, all good NA sovas are already taken so maybe it's the time for 100t scouts to explore cis market because the team itself is getting carried by a ukrainian anyways kekw
They won't cut Hiko, for his role he does well enough and he's a very disciplined player. What it came down to most, was that 100T is completely incompetent on Breeze. I think the majority of the top 10 NA teams could take down 100T on Breeze.
It all comes down to playstyle vs playstyle on that map tbh, they didn't adapt well to c9s style. Personally i've always disliked Hiko's playstyle and think it is way too one dimensional.
thing is tho
- they pick breeze so they must get in a good amount of practice on it
- they won vs. acend on it(though tbf nitr0 jett had never been seen and steel was still on the team)
100T is the asymptotic curve and qualifying for champion is the axis, always super close but never reach it
the most fucking wild game ever.
- b0i plays first 2 maps very well
- ethan negative every game
- nitr0 plays terribly
- xeppaa plays reyna and raze and it works???
- hiko plays last 2 maps terribly although going positive first game, unlike his performance @ berlin when he took a long time to wake up but when he did he played beautifully
last map vs. xset i thought that although C9 was good they had no chance. i was completely wrong. they adapted perfectly. in their last map their agent comp was nonsensical and idiotic. in this map they played smartly, with smart agent comps that 1. caught opponents off guard and 2. actually worked. never been a c9 fan but fuck me im proud of them
So like after this surely boi back to being an analyst move nitro back to smokes and sign a cracked out jett kid.

Also yeah they choked, but they Ethan is still a top talent and nitro not trying to igl on jett is probably best for the long term for both his igl decisions and play making
Nothing against boi, I think his had a solid tournament given how late he came in. I just don't think he's the long term fit

Your are right but breeze was 100t's key map when steel was there and they would have never lost breeze if steel was there
They def still would have lost, wasnt even close and steel isnt motivated to play professionally atm
Removing steel just before LCQ was a terrible idea in itself. They could have made it to champions if steel was there. They lost breeze to Geng and now to c9.
Could have played LCQ with steel and they would have one month to sort out the miscommunications or whatever before champions. Why steel was so terrible especially when you have above average performance in master's Berlin ? Bonkers
Steel wasnt benched cause he was poor he was benched cause he didnt have motivation to play and wasnt feeling the game. You cant force someone to play
