As always, it depends on personal preference.
If you don't mind some spoilers, I'd try watching gameplay and see if you like it
not as hard as souls game, this game is somewhere in the middle between typical hack-n-slash and souls-like.
It's a really good game. Almost as good as Elden Ring. I personally am into Chinese mythology much more but even then I like Elden Ring better. But Wukong is easily top 2 this year.
