but you dont need to be the best nor beat the best to qualify for a tournament as shown by T1. Being first seed gives you 0 momentum and so much of the time the first seeds who are better than their opponents lose anyway.
DRX deserved to be at shanghai much more than T1 regardless of it is or isnt cope

Yes true DRX might have deserved shanghai, but if they were solid enough to beat geng or prx in playoffs, then they would have earned and deserved it. It is unfortunate, but they lost. And also, you kind of do need to be the best to get to masters and champions.

also historically DRX have always made it out of groups

just unlucky cuz valorant is a random ass game where u can have geng lose to RRQ and T1 and beat drx all in the same week

also geng destroyed t1 in the rematch , very clear offgame for their qualifying game
