Youre right but thats like her only real use case sadly. Trust me, deadlock is one of my fav agents and i want her to be good but anti-retake is like her only real good thing - which is why she isnt really used
She has to be able to do more than anti-retake to be used more.
Stun trips are very weak on defense, grav net is just whatever, and wall is good but easily countered by just having multiple players spray it down
But anyway yeah shes really good on anti retake esp for like icebox and ascent where defenders will drop down from rafters on A site and get smacked by a stun trip
Actually i mean yeah she is super strong defensively with a kj/cypher/viper to help. I was meaning more in the solo case though with what i typed out.
The issue with a senti/viper WITH deadlock is that most teams (usually) dont want to run two sentinel role agents and also it makes your attack side a lot slower and more anti-retake based (instead of anti-defuse based)
honestly i think they have cracked lotus ngl deadlock shuts down retakes also its a heavy lurk map so getting flanked isn't a problem
and blocking on of the paths to retake from and its a T sided map so having deadlock to make ur def stronger since she doesn't have a range limit is crazy and theres probably more shit too and its a flexible comp too u can run neon or gekko and it would still be good
