Kinda weird ngl, you’re 21, your whole life is ahead of u, u get to do things most kids dream to do, u played on some of the biggest stages and make a name for yourself and travelled the world with your friends. And you regret it because life isn’t going the way you want rn?

I hope this comment isn’t insensitive. I hope Jakee succeeds, to grind from collegiate to T1 takes a lot of effort and I know with his level of dedication he’ll succeed in life. Hope to see him on stage again 🫡

Just very reactionary. He might of wished he spent the time doing a degree and feels very behind from where he wanted to be in life

I kind of agree with you. But I get and understand that he's had a bad result with esports and that he isn't joyous with how it turned out.

We all set off on journeys with a desire to get to a certain destination. Sometimes the path is long and difficult, but we make it. Possibly scathed and tired, but the destination will be the desired one and all will be fine.
However, sometimes the destination just isn't what you expected/wanted it to be, regardless of how hard you worked for it. It seems that jakee has had an unfortunate encounter with this regretful situation.

I wish him luck in the years ahead. Like you said, he's got time to do lots.

His braindead gf also ruined his career. Hope they both mature and learn from this.

He should be happy that he tried to chase his goals/dreams even if he doesn't deem it as a success.
What he had achieved though is still a great achievement, being able to say you've competed at the top level infront of a crowd is no small feat.
Some people live their lives regretting that they never tried.

There is quite the pressure especially at that age to keep making the correct steps forwards, in terms of getting a job/career and progressing in life.
You can feel stagnated especially if the people around you are advancing.

He is still very young though and career paths are not linear.
I hope that he continues to find joy in his new coding adventure.

With how everything turned out for him I would regret it too in his shoes ngl

At least he tried to live his dreams, but at his current point (since he's pursuing coding/school) he could have graduated already and maybe gotten himself a good stable job instead of esports

All good
