according to liquipedia , SEN has as of now 7 championship points , but how does this helps SEN in any way other than the qualification. Will having the most championship points gives u a head start in the tourney or smthing?

Tell me about it..... Its like reality hired a new scriptwriter and they're really pushing the boundaries of believability.
championship points only matter if you are not a top 3 team in your region, as the points only come into play for the 4th team in each region to make it to Champions 2024. So if you are (for example) SEN NRG and LOUD you really wouldnt care cause you are winning a ton in the regular season and will naturally make it to top 3 on Wins alone
whereas maybe a team like C9 or EG are not at the top but they get a few wins here and there and those points matter to separate them from the middle of the pack come Split 2 going into Champs.
