twitch vs youtube

Why do people use twitch? i always use youtube because if i miss a round/match, i can go back and rewatch it. I think that the only downside to youtube is that theres no ttv emotes, and you can't reply to people, but i don't usually interact with chat so it doesn't really matter to me.

I only use Twitch when there are active drops. Otherwise I stick with Youtube.

ui on yt does kinda suck, BUT i still think the rewind feature and the speedup feature makes yt INFINITELY better than twitch

Nah twitch UI is the main reason I use twitch but if yt ui gets better I'm switching instantly

I just watch the tarik watch party which is why i use twitch. However idk what the people who are saying twitch has better quality is smoking, youtube has better encoding than twitch and realistically either way the streams are literally identical.

YouTube normally 10s behind for me and it's nice to be able to chat shit without using my real name on twitch

you can use the speedup function to get around the delay, unlike twitch
just change your name on yt

Watch Partys is the main pull for Twitch
I use YT now for Sliggy (almost no ad's, rewind, No Buffer)
YT chat feature is just horrible but if your only watching the game I think YT >>> Twitch but most want to watch fav streamer to.

I have youtube premium so I watch youtube
