IS THIS EVEN GOOD PRACTICE?

Well my friend told me that Team Secret only practice 8 hours a day in 5 days excluding weekends. That includes scrims and watching vods. After that they just chill and go with the flow. Is that a proper mindset for pro players? Go with the flow? Really? Now I understand why they can't qualify in the international.Trash mindset.

I'm pretty sure most teams run 3-6 scrims a day (4-8 hours), and VOD review for the rest. so this seems kinda normal, also while scrim time is important it's a quality over quantity kinda thing you can run it down for 24 rounds all day, win the scrim 21-3 and still be shit or you can use your scrims to improve mistakes or train executes/retakes etc , lose your scrim but actually improve.

Also time together outside the server where you just chill with ur team and build chemistry turns out is critical. I mean just look at KRU in last LCQ they took a big break after the season and started prac later than other lcq teams, but they won it. you can also add sentinels as an example to this but they didn't take a break.

Bro, this kind of reply. You're a God, thank you for your explanation. One upvote for me.

ig that is what differentiates EDG and the whole CHINA valo scene.
If u or ur team aint good enough, u have to push ur limits.

SEN during Madrid had a super hectic schedule, scrim- scrim - scrim all day and matchdays. + players solo grind

These things are good for teams who r already good and stable like FNC, Loud

I don't have data yo back this up, however

I feel like EDG are kinda scrimming just to scrim. They are playing weaker(they win every toruney in thier region without much hassle) Chinese tier two competition and just shit on them without gaining valuable insight about their flaws - or without having coaches who can extract this insight.

Sen was playing FNC in Madrid and plays M80, OXG etc. at home. These are teams that they can't just shit on, hence they get a lot more valuable info. I think the closer mechanically you are to the teams you are scrimming, the harder you try in scrims and the better coaches you have, the more you extract from scrims.

As with many things in life

Progression= attentive and productive time

Yes because I'm a Filipino working here in Brazil (Rio de janeiro) for 2 and a half years. I'm a Loud fan also. Never heard of TS to be honest til Sao Paulo Tournament. Never heard of all-pinoy franchised team until they Defeated Team Liquid ( I was there and i instantly fell in love). I only got dubstep and jremy signatures and photos though when they went outside to get something.

I really want them to win something. I talked shit, I trashtalked them and I even cursed them cause I'm so desperate and frustrated. They have the talents, no doubt about that. But the inconsistency made me so mad that I want to go to korea and find the problem myself instead of asking what is wrong. They replaced my King (Dubstep) over some kid who can't even shoot bro, and just smile over his mistakes. I really want to slap NDG cause he BAAAAAAD!

But anyways, i like them ☺️. And I'm so ready to trashtalk everyone here in vlr.gg if they trashtalk Team Secret cause I'm the only one who can trashtalk them.

TBF the Chinese scene isn't developed enough to where franchised teams can have meaningful scrims against competent T2 teams

I'm not sure how common it is for these teams to scrim against Japanese or Korean T2 teams because that's the next best option really

i think it doesnt matter if you do less hours, its more about the effort you put into those 8 hours, lets say 2023 lev trained 16 hours and they just dont take it seriously, are they gonna improve?
