There is not as much pressure when I'm playing against Poverty franchise Kru and Fut in the first round of a tournament versus prime FNC at Tokyo. Most of the round 1 games at Champions are heavy favorites and no good games to watch.

If I get a horrid group like FNC did in 2023 It's basically a bye round into a top 8 bracket anyway, and they got so much time off for beating Zeta and BiliBili. While other teams had to play way more games to stay alive while they were learning from them. If I'm EDG or DRX in Champions I'm having to pull out every strat I have to make it out while FNC basically get a bye

crazy how there is not as much pressure but derke has choked in map 3 of an elimination game every single time.
historically you literally get a bye past groups if you are top seed in masters, meaning you only need to win 4 games to win the event (as compared to a minimum of 6 at champs for #1 seeds)
you can get a horrid group with 2 dominant teams in masters too such as:
Group A masters reykjavik 2022
group B masters copenhagen
Group B masters berlin
group C masters berlin
group D masters berlin
etc.
ps. KRU literally got farther at champs than FNC have ever gonna (tied for 3rd compared to 4th)

I'm just gonna agree to disagree on this one I got better stuff to do.

You make some good points and are not entirely brainless.

Have a great night

swiss>>>>> group stage. Champs with 16 teams should be win 3 games to make playoffs which is SUCH an upgrade over 2 games won
