I wouldn't say tier2 but their entire success is based on controlled and sometimes uncontrolled chaos they capitlize off of, playing standard default valorant means they wouldnt have enough depth and midrounding to be tier1, specially without alecks and no IGL idk why people downvoted me earlier lmao

And comp-wise, that split game, it was just retake fest from EDG because PRX had no util to delay the retake. And bind too, the reyna pick was not good. Gekko would have been a lot better imo

I don't know why everyone is like do this do that. The PRX players definitely want to win more than anything, and they probably keep thinking about how to win all the time. Let them figure it out and be supportive of their decisions if you like them.

IMO let them figure out how to utilize monyet first especially when this is just a kickoff event and there's still a long season ahead. I'm not saying monyet is as good as Jinggg but even Jinggg didn't start well with PRX, and he got better with time because they figured that he wasn't comfortable with jett.

well said, even with jinggg on the roster prx fell out of apac lcq 2021, losing to damwon (now rebranded dplus) and then getting eliminated by northeption. I know this all too well because the loss was painful for me

The reason they pick yoru instead of sentinel cause they want to counter cypher which is a must on split on today meta. But edg counter them, instead picking cypher they pick breach with no sentinel also. Paper rex probably thought viper is enough for sentinel role. Afterall, they beat t1 with this comp and like davai said in interview, they dont want to change comp in last minute again.

Also idk why u said monyet have 0 util help him. I saw forsaken keep giving him flash (im not really focused on the match). The reason monyet seems "underperform" cause when he take space breach stun and skye flash hit him then kangkanng just came and kill him

Imo its not about w gaming that doesnt worrk. Paper rex just get outstrat on the split game. Also edg seriously pop off on this game. Nobody and kanngkang went crazy on that game, cant deny that.

yeah i understand, but stil like u said ur self "they beat t1 with this comp" (they barely lost it to, 8-4 first half), and playing againt EDG running the same coms before, u expext EDG not gonna study PRX split coms ? thats why EDG not playing Chyper cuz they know its useless againts Yoru.

from the start this coms is Terrible comp even tho they win agiants T1, u dont have sentinel to get info, u dont have initiator to regain info...so how u goona keep map control ? u cannot...the only way is they need to push to get info (and gues what ? EDG just need to wait and punish PRX)

and i also dont like Reyna pick map 2 (BIND), pick Reyna for what ? reyna doesn't do anything & give anything for ur team, Playing Yoru in Bind will so much better than split. they need to stop Winning relying on aim power only cuz againt good team will not work & won't last long. but that just my opinon
