Top 3 players in each role

These are my predictions for top players in each role at the end of masters Madrid.

Duelists: Zekken, something, t3xture
Initiators: cauanzin, f0rsaken*, sacy
Controller: TenZ, Karon. mindfreak
Flex: N4RRATE, Zellsis, Smoggy
Sentinel: Less, Meteor, JohnQT

Left to right, In that order.
EU fans can come at me all they want but I think EU is gonna flop big time.
*f0rsaken isn't a legit initiator per se and PRX don't have a full time initiator but he plays fade and yoru. Yoru is basically an initiator in my book.

Zellsis bottom 5 players at Masters and will be the reason SEN doesn't make a podium finish

respectable if you think eu is gonna flop

id still replace something w marteen though, but something is a safe choice.

i love heretics a lot but i could only justify in my mind miniboo cracking top 3 in their role :(

also these are just my top 3 in every role not predicting who will be good at madrid

tenz is a flex player

TenZ is more of a flex than a controller. Zellsis fits that controller role since his agent pool is viper/brim

*forsaken also plays KAYO in matches so he kind of does fit the initiator role

well if you put an asterisk on f0rsaken, put it for tenz too, cuz he’s not a controller player

Looking back at it now I think i did pretty good compared to a lot of the pundits in the scene, eh?

Tuyz is the highest rated controller for Madrid, he has got to be in the top 3

i deadass don't see sh1n mentioned for top smokes at this point in 2024, dude is insanely good in placing smokes in postplants/ outside of set execs. his smoke placement is just as good as mako's (in prime form) and hes a shooter as well

Pretty happy with how it turned out at the end. All the teams that I thought would make playoffs actually made playoffs. May be I should start a podcast calling it 'Ascendent chat' or 'RandomMan's Valorant' hehehe
