As a KC fan who interacts every day with them I can assure you that nobody here thinks that
Same about M8 btw, they'd rather have an international team than losing two games against Vitality with a sub. We just wanna win, we're not that much into chauvinism.

tft you think i'd genuienly take time to a respond to a thread with no thought and only copium put into it is crazy. If you want my genuine response, zekken is not on the level of aspas last year (sample size too small for me to say this year) and he's been in Tier1 with XSET and then SEN for so long that newer duelists have better potential long term(marteen, oxy, narrate, something, and even jemkin)

im talking about the past and the future, not the present, which we have at most 6 matches and at minimum 1 match to go off of. you judging the kickoff tournaments ONLY is very flawed lmao
and marteen is like 5 months older wow such a difference, zekken already being in tier 1 for 3 years has a much greater impact on how high his ceiling can theoretically go than 5 months in marteen's case or a year in jemkin's case

time in the league has so much to do with it lol, its like that in every sport or esport. if someone is new they are much more volatile, their ceiling and floor are both way higher and lower in their respective directions, but the more they play, the more we understand how good they are and can be
we can both agree that zekken will never be the best player in the world right? maybe best duelist for a short period of time, but there will be someone on another role always better than him
there is a chance marteen can become the best player in the world
lets look at another example in basketball, jalen green early on in his career had the potential to be a superstar number 1 option, but after many years in the league, people can agree he is not going to get there, he can still be a star, but he won't become a superstar and is currently not even a number one option on his team, that being alperen sengun
