This is over for SEN like NRG hasn't shown anything meanwhile SEN played all their maps and showed most of their strats but John did say they were trying to show much in the playins but even then the only way they win is if somehow this isnt their actual comps and they just show up with completely new comps on some of the maps but NRG wins this 60% of the time

Ascent wont change, but he did talk about gekko so i fell like they def have a gekko bind cooked up or something but held onto it, and even tho theyre perm banning icebox could probably see it maybe

but if bind is gekko then tenz cant tp to a site trap play where skye dog and flash plays important role

they dont really use tenz tp to take space, they crunch showers during defense a lot and push b long a lot too, gekko flash combined with yoru flashes can be really dangerous it is basically like their sunset comp with gekko and kayo but instead of kayo we have yoru here, it can definitely work but a lot of adjustments and new protocols will be required for them to be solid

I think if they somewhat sitched to gekko the yoru wont be staying around, they could swap the yoru out for a gekko and keep the skye or switch to fade like 100T

it would be a massive fumble to take tenz off from yoru well because they quite literally have the best bind yoru player

bro tenz yoru is so crucial... even if he gets 0 kill he can get them vontrol of long and shower all on himself. tenz basically plays yoru more as an initiator than duel.

their comps are gonna remain the same but they will most likely have a lot of set strats and retake/post plant shit that will catch everyone on sen off guard

not knowing an opponents retake setup doesnt mean youll be caught off guard. Sen just dont have hard counters set to whatever NRG have planned and for a midround heavy team like SEN it really doesnt seem like too big of a detriment.
The only reason i even think NRG will have a chance is because they have some heavy anti stratting advantages compared to sen. If they didnt have that I wouldnt even question it, id give 70/30 to SEN IF that were the case

i dont mean the literal retake setups, the util combo and a few new things will definitely catch them off guard but its not game changing or anything, a timeout could fix all of that

They played lotus and sunset once and didn't play icebox and played breeze and bind twice and most of their maps were split so if they ban split they will play other maps which were not seen alot

their breeze and bind are super easy to read and can be picked up apart with enough time (u have to consider the afreeca vods too coz they are doing the same things a lot of the time) they didnt show lotus and sunset and thats their only way to win this game but NRG will prolly ban one of these maps

I mean if anything this just shows how unfortunate the format is- SEN having to play 11 (I think?) maps to quali while a team like EG had to play like what 3 or 4? Unlucky for them but I still have hope that they can give a good run- they played rough against LOUD and still made it close.

It would be crazy if they don't play sunset it's one of the maps they look good on and have vods on NRG 2nd map will be breeze ascent or icebox cuz they are jett maps and they have demon 1 3rd map is the remaining one and i think it will be one of the maps that SEN hasn't shown alot of

If NRG bans Split, SEN's best map, SEN is going 0-2 or 1-2 for sure against NRG. Its just too easy. But I'm pretty sure NRG beats SEN on Split easily.

if NRG ban split they ban the map they have the most material to anti with. You people are really making it seem like SEN doesnt have the firepower to just roll NRG.
Unless NRG are MASSIVELY better than Loud, theres a huge chance SEN will take this game
