I feel like team secret has the potential to be the number 2-3 or heck even number 1 in pacific and they have the potential to qualify for masters and champions assuming they remained consistent with their plays and address their lack of firepower last year. What do you guys think?

apac teams are weird. except for DFM and Talon, i feel like these team could potentially make a run and be top contender team.
especially with 2023 mid table teams like RRQ TS GenG and even GE.

DFM isnt even that bad lol people just are assuming they are gonna be awful because they were last year. They are better than GE lol

even now they are still better than DFM. their problem is not the roster, it's the coaching staff.

That is true but among all the middle pack teams, I actually think that either RRQ or TS have the highest chance to beat teams like T1 and Bleed to secure the second spot, but I could be wrong since apac is known for its inconsistency but we'll see soon

yes I agree, all of them have potential on being international teams. One is just better than the other.

Doesn't even have to be APAC, NA n EMEA- all rosters look good on paper... It's just how they play that affects the outcome.

edit: they're in the tier 1 league for a reason >:)

good team but I feel like they still lack firepower.. The boomers will drag the team down mechanically, Jremy was inconsistent last year, NDG played well in their last event but idk if it will be the same vs t1 teams.. Probably middle of the pack, they're not good enough to be top 3 above

i kinda feel like they need to swap out borkum with papichulo or replace jessievash with xavi8k to make this team consistently good in terms of firepower but i kinda have doubts that xavi8k would be a better igl than jessievash when it comes to strategy

whats so special about xavi ive seen a lot of people rate him high but i havent really seen some explosive performances from him

Xavi8k is a decent igl with a flexible agent pool and good firepower compared to vash, but i guess vash could be better when it comes to mid rounding but with enough exposure to tier 1 scene i feel like xavi8k could be better than vash

2-8 in pacific all have a chance to go on a run I feel it’s the hardest region to power rank but yeah ts looked good in their 1 off season showing so I wouldn’t be shocked

invy jremy and NDG are amazing mechanically and we saw a glimpse of that last season, NDG peaked number 1 in apac ranked for a reason (on 60 hz btw), and I feel like the 3 zoomer 2 boomer strat would work wonders for this squad and I won't be surprised if they upset some top dogs in APAC this season.

That is true but I still feel skeptical about borkum specially with his lacking performance last year, I still wish they swap him out with papichulo to fix this team's lack of firepower

I think that may be a bit of a stretch. Secret's peak DEFINITELY can't touch PRX on an average day. DRX are still DRX. Bleed has firepower second only to PRX. ZETA has 3 proven players and 2 cracked young players. T1 were consistently good last year and have only made upgrades. They may even struggle to make playoffs ngl.

Yeah that's true, but i kinda feel like ts have an advantage when it comes to teamplay compared to other teams specially with their current off season event, they seem pretty comfortable playing around each other

prx and drx have always been the two consistent teams and they both experienced major changes. i think that leaves a lot of room for teams like secret to make a run. i could easily see them at shanghai or champs

Between PRX, DRX ,Zeta,T1, Bleed and RRQ the top 6 is very hotly contested. TS need to be better than atleast 3 of them to make international event. Which of them do u think TS can beat?

I remember watching a TS vlog where Warbirds specifically said they prep super heavily in advance on teams such as PRX and DRX as soon as they landed in Korea. He said the key to qualifying for international tournament was beating DRX and PRX. Rightly so TS beat PRX and managed to win 1st map against DRX on Haven with the famous "Go A strats" but lost map 2 and 3 against DRX.

The problem with TS is their consistency. T1 managed to qualify for every international turney cause they only to DRX/PRX and the 1 case of Peak early season GenG, but other than that they didn't lose any other pacific team. Every wins matters for getting points in this years season split (1 & 2), consistency matters and TS can't afford to lose to teams like weakened ZETA or the improved RRQ.
