why SEN is the true NA superteam

because they've been just that idk why we forgot about them lol. We literally have two world champions, TenZ who's by far the most popular player ever in the scene, Zekken who's the youngest NA prodigy and also one of the youngest prodigies in the world of all time, Zellsis who's always been an unbelievably cracked player and is by far the best hype man in the scene, and of course JohnQT who's one of the great IGLs that's about to prove himself in Tier 1 once and for all.

Comparing the current hyped up "super team" to SEN individually:

TenZ < Marved (heavily debatable, but I don't wanna give off the impression that I'm biased, I think this is justified)
Zellsis >= Victor
Zekken = Demon1
Sacy > Crashies
JohnQT > Ethan (one of them is an actual IGL lol)
Pancada > Marved (TenZ can't be replaced for obvious reasons, but this bit is still true)

it's pretty much a sweep honestly. idk why we're hyping up the same org that got 0-4'd by Billy Billy just because Demon1 & Ethan joined even though they literally dont have an IGL, and I've seen first hand what the lack of a proper IGL will do to a team full of "stars" (even though the OPTIC core is super washed). Like what super team is there if the team just isn't that super no? Ppl really wanna hype up Ethan to be the IGL even though Boostio has always been the one making the crucial calls on EG, like lets be fr guys lol.

2 months later:
Thats it. That seals the deal. Im no longer a SEN fan. I’ve been a fan since 2020 and a twitch prime sub since 2021. I will no longer watch them play nor renew my tier 3 sub to TenZ. I’m taking my fanhood to NRG where they actually know how to run a team.

NRG have 5 world champions 2 of which are reigning world champions

They also have 2 of the most consistent players in VALORANT who have made pretty much every single valorant LAN and performed

And they also have the best controller NA

SEN haven’t even qualified to a LAN in 2 years and now people are rating them above the goated players of NRG just because of an offseason tournament?

Crashies’s only competition is cauanzin and c0m and I would give him the edge because of his sheer consistency throughout the year

And there aren’t many good sentinels NA so I’ll admit Victor is second best behind less at Sentinel

Crashies was much better in LOCK IN and Americas and they had a similar performance in Tokyo

Albeit c0m was definitely better at champs

I give crashies the edge because he has done it for longer, more consistently, and through more iterations of rosters

Sentinels were a "Teri 1 team" last year but obviously they weren't. We can say NRG is the Number one team in the Americans but we don't know, we haven't seen them play and demon1 and Ethan were number 1 on Eg when they had a Goated IGL and Coach. Although we have seen Sen play and they have been killing it. Not dropping a match since the ludwig x Tarik thing Evan destroying Prx,Drx and T1

Eg doesn't exist anymore and Cloud9 lost to fucking Furia witch are also ass. We don't know 100t or I don't know 100t roster but there current roster lost to Sen in Lcq and aren't very good too begin with. KRU lost to us Evan when we didn't have an igl so I'm sure we can beat them now especially if we played like we did in Korea. We don't know about Loud/NRG Sense
we haven't seen them play but we except them to be decent. ( I don't think they will be as good as they were this year) and Mibr just suck. So with the information that we have Sen is currently the best team in there America's, although on paper the rumored NRG team might be better

If youre saying that the upcoming NRG players are gonna be good individually then yeah I think they're better than sentinels but If you're talking about team wise then that I don't think I can agree since I do believe on the belief of 'Right team member>Best players'

I dont think you get it about IGL, rest is your opinion, enjoy it. But a chaotic team like PRX dont really need an IGL, but that is not the case with NRG, whose play style revolves around antistratting. This play style definitely requires an IGL who can also antistrat mid round. Crashies may be a good secondary caller, but FNS was still the IGL who made the antistrats, so I dont really expect NRG to have amazing success unless their play style or team roles change.

my point is that even prx with no igl their players were able to step up and do the calls for the team, any good player will be able to adapt to big changes and a member on nrg taking the igl role is likely no exception these guys have played at the highest level of valorant so idk why would people assume ethan or crashies would not be a good igl at all.

You also said TenZ vs Marved is heavily debatable? There's a clear gap between the two in terms of smoking. You must forgot that that 32k was just an off-season event.

Pancada > Marved? Did you even watched Americas League? Marved joined and made the team perform better before leaving, where as Pancada, barely got impact, he literally got benched for Zellsis.
