The rumor of Fokus moving back to Dach has been circulating for ~ a week now
This is most likely a reaction to Polaris... well... not existing atm for next year? TO is going out of business and there has been no communication as to who's gonna replace them/what will happen afaik

This is such a shame since the Fokus roster was a front-runner, if not favorites, for ascension going into the 2024 season, but is also a huge hit to Polaris as a whole since Fokus were hard carrying viewership last season

Polaris will exist next year, a different situation compared to CIS. Riot is working on finding a TO to replace Promod but it takes time.
FOKUS (possibly) leaving is likely due to no merger between Polaris and DACH, which was considered a few weeks ago.

Their loss in the end since the initial roster would've won Ascension easily

I hope DACH and Polaris merged even if that left some out of the league. League of like Apeks, Fokus, CGN, MOUZ, SK Gaming would be cool af, and would mean that both would count for that 3 from region rule and some of the teams could be really good.

Fokus roster has been leaked for a while right? , but yeah Polaris is fucked, and unless someone on Apeks has a citizenship I don't know about they're going to the East league too
